I am the Conflict and Security and Governance Convenor in the Knowledge Services (KS) department at the Institute for Development Studies (IDS), UK. A member of the KS team since 2008 I am responsible for producing content on conflict and security and governance related-issues for associated KS websites and outputs. A key facet of this work is highlighting southern research and processes through working extensively with southern partners. A journalist prior to joining IDS, I have a particular interest in peace and reconciliation processes which led me to be involved in a number of projects in Uganda, Europe and the Middle East.
