I have been working as a Research Fellow in Hygiene Behaviour in the Environmental Health Group at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) for the past four years. My PhD research on the evaluation of a multiple behaviour change intervention for control of diarrhoeal disease in Zambia forms a large part of my current work. I was trained in epidemiology through the European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training (EPIET), during which time I worked for two years as an epidemiologist at the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment. Prior to that I was based in Ndola, Zambia with Emory University coordinating HIV research projects. I have an MSc in Control of Infectious Diseases from LSHTM and a BSc (First Class Honours) in Natural Sciences from the University of Birmingham.
