How can information on climate change best be communicated?

This question will shape the discussions amongst scientists, journalists, and academics at the 1st Annual Climate Communications Day - December 1 2011 - at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)'s Climate Change Summit in Durban, South Africa. The Internews Earth Journalism Network (EJN) and the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), in partnership with other organisations and with funding from Hewlett-Packard, will host this daylong event in an effort to exchange insights, lessons learned, and innovative new approaches on how to spread news and information about climate change accurately and effectively.
