This journal article discusses the impact of a national communications campaign in Cameroon to accompany the distribution of free long-lasting insecticide treated nets (LLINs). The communications campaign was designed to ensure that as the nets were delivered, they would be used consistently. The findings suggest an important role for mass media behaviour change communications in ensuring that available bed nets are used appropriately to prevent malaria.
