His community volunteerism work has been centered on strengthening professional proficiency, integrity and personal development for underprivileged young people in Zimbabwe through HIV awareness, livelihoods skills development and human rights with emphasis in making critical services accessible to youths. Tatenda is founder and Director of Youth Advocates Zimbabwe (YAZ), a grassroots national youth advocacy organization working with marginalized grassroots communities inspiring young people to take the lead in the fight against HIV
