I am an academic who teaches and researches in the areas of global journalism, media for social change, sustainability, and social justice. I am particularly interested in exploring the power of language (discourse, rhetoric, etc) in maintaining/justifying social relations of inequality and injustices, and therefore in ways of resisting these through counter-hegemonic discourses and critical pedagogy.
